The Kalida Wildcats will take on the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Kalida not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Columbus Grove as they made off with a 3-0 win.
Kalida never let Columbus Grove on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 28-26, 25-15.

Kalida got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carlie Siefker out in front who had 13 digs and two assists. Siefker is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sophie Vorst, who had five digs and three aces.
Kalida was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Pandora-Gilboa came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1.
Pandora-Gilboa walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 20-25, 29-27.
Pandora-Gilboa's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Kalida, their win bumped their record up to an identical 16-5.
