Softball Recap: Teton's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Teton waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the South Fremont Cougars as they made off with a 13-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Timberwolves also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Jimmi Williamson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had over her last five matchups. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Kara Webster was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Brinlee Albertson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Teton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher in 14 consecutive games.

Teton's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for South Fremont, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Teton will take on West Jefferson at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Fremont, they will challenge Sugar-Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
