Volleyball Recap: Harleton Comes Up Short on the Road Against Word of God Academy

Harleton had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Word of God Academy Force on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-11.

Word of God Academy found their leader in sophomore Kallie Pizarro, who had 14 digs and seven aces.

The victory got Word of God Academy back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Harleton will face off against Winona at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Word of God Academy, they will take on Ascension Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Force their first taste of in-conference action this season.
