Basketball Recap: Ringling Comes Up Short

Ringling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Springer Cardinals. The Blue Devils lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-40 score last time.

Ringling's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Springer, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Ringling will be playing in front of their home fans against Walters at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ringling is facing Walters at the right time seeing as Walters is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Springer, they will head out on the road to take on Paoli at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
