It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pine Forest had no problem doing just that on Monday. They took down the Pensacola Tigers 31-12. The Eagles' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

Pine Forest's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Pensacola, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Pine Forest will challenge Choctawhatchee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' defense has only allowed 10.6 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. Pensacola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
