Asotin can bid farewell to their 13-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They skirted past the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna Broncos 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since March 26th.

Kiera Nielson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits.

At the plate, Asotin let Georgia Schaefer and Jayne Crockett run wild. Schaefer went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Crockett went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Crockett has posted since back in March.

Asotin's win bumped their record up to 2-17. As for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Asotin will challenge Colfax at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
