Volleyball Game Preview: Poudre Impalas vs. Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors

The Poudre Impalas will head out on the road to challenge the Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Poudre has five straight wins, Eagle Ridge Academy has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Poudre got the win against Centaurus by a conclusive 3-0.

While Poudre might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Centaurus scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Eagle Ridge Academy suffered their biggest loss since March 26th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Severance.

While Eagle Ridge Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Severance's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-20.

Eagle Ridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Poudre, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4.
