Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. James). They blew past the Bourbon War Hawks 12-2 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the War Hawks: they've now won five in a row.

JV Meurer was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Charles McCormick was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

St. James always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .590. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

St. James' win bumped their record up to 5-18. As for Bourbon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

St. James will square off against Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bourbon, they will challenge Belle at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
