Basketball Recap: East Ridge Takes a Loss

East Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 79-62 bruising from the Prestonsburg Blackcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blackcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-40 back in January.

East Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15-1. As for Prestonsburg, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

East Ridge has already played their next match, a 66-61 win against Hurley on the 14th. As for Prestonsburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 92-71 loss against Betsy Layne on the 13th.
