Volleyball Recap: Plano Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Plano challenged Plano East on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Despite the loss, Plano saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bella Osborn had 15 digs and three assists. Osborn is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Plano's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Plano East, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Plano didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Pearce on the 23rd. As for Plano East, they are taking a road trip to face off against Princeton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
