Volleyball Recap: West Creek Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

West Creek entered their tilt with Kenwood on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-11.

Leading West Creek to victory were Lorelei Castaneda and Emilia Contreras. Castaneda had eight aces and seven digs, while Contreras had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Contreras has posted over her last 11 matches.

They weren't the only good server: West Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive contests.

West Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Kenwood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

West Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Kirkwood on the 17th. As for Kenwood, they will venture away from home to take on Dickson County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
