Volleyball Recap: Steinbrenner Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Steinbrenner lost against Plant back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Steinbrenner was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Plant's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-21.

Luci Canillas paced Steinbrenner's offense, picking up 12 kills. Canillas got some help from Emily Civitillo and her 22 assists. Civitillo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Steinbrenner's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Plant, their victory ended a five-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 11-8.

Steinbrenner has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Riverview on the 7th. As for Plant, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Trinity Catholic on the 2nd.
