Baseball Recap: MICDS Rams vs. Clayton Greyhounds

In what's become a running theme this season, MICDS gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. Everything went their way against the Clayton Greyhounds as the MICDS Rams made off with a 9-3 victory. The win was nothing new for MICDS as they're now sitting on three straight.

Tyler Enyard made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Enyard has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Enyard was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Dunnen McGaughey was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, a triple, and a run. LJ Triplet was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.

MICDS has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Clayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.

MICDS does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clayton, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Mehlville at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Mehlville will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
