Soccer Recap: Coopersville Takes a Loss

If Coopersville was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Kenowa Hills on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Broncos lost 4-0 to the Cedar Springs Red Hawks on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Coopersville of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2021.

Coopersville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Cedar Springs, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coopersville has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Kingsley on the 26th. As for Cedar Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenville at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Cedar Springs will be up against Greenville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.63 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
