Volleyball Recap: Grove City Comes Up Short

Grove City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olentangy Berlin Bears.

While Grove City ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 24-26, 25-19.

Grove City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Olentangy Berlin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grove City will head out to square off against Big Walnut at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Olentangy Berlin, they will venture away from home to face off against Bishop Watterson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
