Ramona has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 16. They and the Valley Center Jaguars finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Bulldogs have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Fabian Martinez was the only thing that stood between Ramona and a shutout considering he scored both of Ramona's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

With that draw, Ramona's record moves to 6-6-2. Meanwhile, Valley Center's record is now 2-5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ramona has already played their next game (against San Marcos), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valley Center is taking a road trip to take on Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley Center's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
