Ronan won the last time they faced Libby and things went their way on Saturday too. The Chiefs came out on top against the Loggers by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 17-25, 25-23, 25-16.

Olivia Cheff paced Ronan's offense, picking up 12 kills. Cheff got some help from Sarah Templer and her 22 assists. Cheff was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Several Loggers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tessa Purdy, who had ten digs and two aces. Jillian Stewert also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Ronan's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Libby, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Ronan has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Browning on the 4th. As for Libby, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Whitefish on the 2nd.
