Soccer Game Preview: Royal vs. Kiona-Benton

The Royal Knights will square off against the Kiona-Benton Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Royal is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

While Royal's win against College Place wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights never let the Hawks get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Tuesday. Give Royal's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Kiona-Benton's offense. They came up short against Wahluke on Tuesday, falling 9-0.

Royal's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Kiona-Benton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
