Baseball Recap: Burrillville Takes a Loss

Burrillville lost to North Providence two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Broncos came up short against the Cougars, falling 9-1.

Burrillville dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for North Providence, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burrillville is set to challenge their familiar foe West Warwick at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, North Providence will face off against rival Prout at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
