Recap: Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers vs. North Huron Warriors
The Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 54-41 to North Huron. Carsonville-Port Sanilac has not had much luck with North Huron recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
North Huron's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Wyatt Hoody led the charge by scoring 17 points along with four steals. Hoody is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Krull, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Carsonville-Port Sanilac's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Huron, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carsonville-Port Sanilac will challenge Deckerville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Huron, they will head out on the road to face off against All Saints Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. All Saints Central is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
