            Basketball Recap: Sky View Bobcats vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks        
        
		
        
        
            It was a good run, but  Sky View unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Friday. They took  a  58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridgeline Riverhawks. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Riverhawks earlier this season, when they won  64-56.

 Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Zachary Oxborrow, who  went 7 of 14  en route to 15 points and eight  rebounds. That's the most  boards  Oxborrow has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was  Liam Guthrie, who  went 5 for 10  on his way to 12  points and six  rebounds.
 Ridgeline had a senior duo take command as  Cooper Hall  went 6 of 11  en route to 19 points and six  boards and  Dawson Low  went 5 for 10  on his way to 16  points and five  steals. Low's evening made it four games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points.  Harrison Putnam was another key player,  putting up eight points.
Sky View's defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-8. As for Ridgeline, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sky View will host Green Canyon  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Green Canyon will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Sky View surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ridgeline, they will welcome West Field  at 7:00  p.m.  on January 24th.
