Football Game Preview: Oconomowoc Raccoons vs. Pewaukee Pirates

The Oconomowoc Raccoons will square off against the Pewaukee Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Oconomowoc is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Muskego, who was ranked second at the time (Oconomowoc was ranked 20th). The Raccoons had to suffer through a 41-10 loss at the hands of the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Raccoons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Pewaukee beat Kettle Moraine 20-13 on Friday.

Pewaukee's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Oconomowoc, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Oconomowoc took their victory against Pewaukee in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 21-0 score. Do the Raccoons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
