Basketball Recap: Byne Christian Takes a Loss

Byne Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Victory Baptist Warrior, falling 81-18. The game marked the Saints' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Victory Baptist's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carson Kuykendall led the charge by putting up 14 points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Davis, who posted 12 points.

Byne Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Victory Baptist, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Byne Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Victory Baptist, they have already played their next match, a 60-53 victory against Friendship Christian on the 14th.
