Volleyball Game Preview: Sheridan Generals vs. John Glenn Little Muskies

Sheridan has gone a perfect 10-0 against John Glenn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Generals will be playing at home against the Little Muskies at 6:00 p.m. John Glenn took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Sheridan, who comes in off a win.

Sheridan won the last time they faced Morgan and Grace Stoltz did her part to make sure it happened again. The Generals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raiders on Monday, sneaking past 3-2 thanks in part to Stoltz, who had 23 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 30 games she's played dating back to last season.

Sheridan took Morgan into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-20, 25-22, 25-27, 17-15.

Meanwhile, John Glenn came up short against Morgan on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Little Muskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

John Glenn actually scored more points across those four sets (90-89), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 14-25, 25-21.

Sheridan now has a winning record of 9-8. As for John Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Everything went Sheridan's way against John Glenn in their previous meeting on September 2nd, as Sheridan made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Generals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Little Muskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
