Soccer Game Preview: Vance County vs. Heritage

The Vance County Vipers will face off against the Heritage Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Vance County's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Knightdale 3-0. Considering Vance County have won 12 matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Heritage hasn't lost a match since August 27th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Franklinton as they made off with a 4-0 win. That's two games straight that Heritage have won by exactly four goals.

Heritage has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five matches. As for Vance County, their win bumped their record up to 12-1-1.
