Wando entered their tilt with Porter-Gaud on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Cyclones by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Wando easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16.

Lily Mahoney paced Wando's offense, picking up seven kills. Mahoney got some help from McKenna St. Clair and her 18 assists. Mahoney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Wando's win bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Porter-Gaud, with the defeat, they broke their nine-match winning streak and moved their record to 19-13.

Wando has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Musselman on the 10th. As for Porter-Gaud, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hilton Head Island on the 10th.
