Softball Game Preview: Solon Comets vs. Wadsworth Grizzlies

The Solon Comets will square off against the Wadsworth Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Solon is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to Brecksville-Broadview Heights.

Solon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Gerhard, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Wadsworth came up short against GlenOak on Saturday, falling 22-3.

Solon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Wadsworth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
