Baseball Recap: Fike Takes a Loss

Fike was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 6-1 to the North Johnston Panthers. The Demons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Fike saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Spencer, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits Spencer has posted since back in March of 2024.

Fike's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Johnston, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Fike has already played their next game, a 9-8 victory against North Johnston on the 7th. As for North Johnston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 4-3 win against Franklin Academy on the 6th.
