The Roosevelt Rough Riders had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 49-45 win over Highland on Tuesday. For Roosevelt, this counts as revenge for the 50-48 defeat the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Grant Leslie was nothing short of spectacular: he scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Carter Foreman, who scored seven points.

The victory got Roosevelt back to even at 8-8. As for Highland, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will challenge the Minutemen at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Revere and the Rough Riders are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Highland, they will head out on the road to take on the Greenmen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
