Volleyball Recap: San Gabriel Takes a Loss

If San Gabriel was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Alhambra on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Matadors lost 3-0 to the Montebello Oilers on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Oilers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

San Gabriel's defeat dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Montebello, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

As of now, neither San Gabriel nor Montebello have any future games scheduled.
