Softball Recap: Saltillo Takes a Loss

Saltillo lost against Mooreville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Troopers, falling 13-2.

Saltillo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Skelton, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Saltillo now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Mooreville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Saltillo has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Grenada on the 14th. As for Mooreville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-3 win against Choctaw County on the 14th.
