Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Indianapolis Shortridge). Their defense stepped up to hand the Sheridan Blackhawks a 9-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Indianapolis Shortridge needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Their offense was hitting Sheridan from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Steevens Faubert led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Indianapolis Shortridge moved to 6-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Sheridan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Indianapolis Shortridge has already played their next game, a 6-1 win against Seton Catholic on the 20th. As for Sheridan, they are taking a road trip to take on Tipton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
