Softball Recap: Ida Comes Up Short

The Ida Bluestreaks came up short against the Clay Eagles on Thursday and fell 6-1.

Jessica Schrader was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi McCain, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Ida's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Clay, their record is now 7-2.

Looking ahead, Ida will face off against Flat Rock at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Clay, they will square off against Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
