Baseball Recap: Pioneer Comes Up Short

Pioneer suffered their closest defeat since February 20th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Vacaville Bulldogs by a score of 6-4.

Landon Dahler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Pioneer has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Vacaville, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pioneer beat the Bulldogs by a score of 5-3 on Thursday.
