Volleyball Recap: Jay Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Jay was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pensacola on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Royals fell just short of the T.R. Miller Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Royals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

The 3-2 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Jay lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 30-28, 25-23, 17-25, 17-25, 15-13.

When it comes to explaining why Jay lost, don't look at Mylee Frazier. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs.

Jay's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for T.R. Miller, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Jay will head out on the road to take on Tate at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for T.R. Miller, they will be playing at home against Andalusia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
