Volleyball Game Preview: Warren Central Warriors vs. Christel House Eagles

The Warren Central Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Christel House Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Warren Central is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Warren Central lost 3-0 to Ben Davis on Thursday.

While Warren Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Christel House got the win against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Christel House was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.

Christel House's win came from a few key players Warren Central will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kevin Cruz Vera, who had 11 kills, three digs, and one block. He has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last five times he's played. Jason De La Cruz was another key player, getting nine assists and seven kills.

Christel House now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Warren Central, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

Warren Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Christel House in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
