Football Recap: Dixie County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 39 points the game before, Dixie County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 42-12 defeat at the hands of the Bell Bulldogs.

Keydran Teague threw for 90 yards on five of 11 attempts. James Harshley was his top target, picking up 90 receiving yards.

Landin Williams produced another solid effort rushing for 151 yards and four TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry for Bell. That's the most rushing touchdowns Williams has posted since back in August of 2024. Rj Leffler also helped out as he racked up 175 rushing yards.

Dixie County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bell, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dixie County will challenge Chiefland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. As for Bell, they will square off against Duval Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.83 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
