Seminole snaps four-game streak of wins at home

On Tuesday, Seminole was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 59-54 to Lake Minneola.
Aliyah Perry continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lake Minneola, scoring 21 points along with seven steals and six assists. Perry has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. Patricia Casimir was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Seminole's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7. As for Lake Minneola, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole will take on Trinity Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Trinity Prep is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak. As for Lake Minneola, they will be playing in front of their home fans against IMG Academy Blue at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. IMG Academy Blue is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
