Meanwhile, Riverside-Durham can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They managed a 35-29 victory over Northern Durham.

Hillside's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Riverside-Durham, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-10.

Everything came up roses for Hillside against Riverside-Durham in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 59-11 victory. In that game, Hillside amassed a halftime lead of 32-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
