Softball Recap: East Marshall Wins Going Away Against South Hardin

East Marshall won the last time they faced South Hardin and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs blew past the Tigers 11-4. Considering the Mustangs have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

East Marshall's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for South Hardin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Marshall beat South Hardin by a score of 17-2 later that day.
