Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances in games played from last Thursday through Saturday (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Big Game from Branch As West Warwick Fell 30-22

Starting off the list is West Warwick's James Branch, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Branch rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble, made six total tackles, and defended a pass.

This year, Branch has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 150.2 rushing yards per game.

Gamescore: 44.00

Benjamin Wilcox put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Saturday. He rushed for 14 yards and two touchdowns.

While South Kingstown might've come up empty on Thursday, Dante Peno wasn't going down without a fight. Peno turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 80 yards and two touchdowns.

With the defeat, South Kingstown broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1. Peno and South Kingstown will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against East Providence at 6:00 p.m.

Ariel Medina Makes It Two for Woonsocket

The second Woonsocket player making an appearance here is Ariel Medina, and for good reason. He rushed for 81 yards on only 11 carries, and also picked up 55 receiving yards. His longest reception was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.

On the year, Medina has averaged 20.4 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.6 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 84.6 rushing yards.

Jordan Chaloux Makes It Two for South Kingstown

The second South Kingstown player making an appearance here is Jordan Chaloux, and for good reason. He rushed for 90 yards.

This year, Chaloux has averaged 88.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 15.8 rushing yards per game.
