Whetstone was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Rhodes Rams. Considering the Braves have won eight contests by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Whetstone, bringing their record up to 13-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rhodes, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Whetstone will take on Columbus International at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Braves are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Rhodes, they will face off against Glenville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Tarblooders will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's game.
