Basketball Game Preview: Parshall Braves vs. Tioga Pirates

The Parshall Braves will head out on the road to challenge the Tioga Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Parshall has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Tioga will arrive with three straight wins.

Last Monday, Parshall came up short against Westhope/Newburg and fell 80-69.

Meanwhile, Tioga made easy work of Belfield on Saturday and carried off a 71-48 victory. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Parshall's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Tioga, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.

Things could have been worse for Parshall, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 70-51 loss to Tioga in their previous meeting back in January. Can Parshall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
