Basketball Recap: Greenfield Piles Up the Points Against Coastal Christian

Greenfield won the last time they faced Coastal Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Greenfield Knights breezed by the Coastal Christian Centurions to the tune of 67-21. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Centurions are ranked 466th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Coastal Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ethan Adgent, who posted five points.

Greenfield pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Coastal Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Greenfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-65 win against Clayton on the 4th. As for Coastal Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 91-55 victory against Epiphany on the 7th.
