Manasquan dropped their record down to 9-3 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 11-0 to the Colts Neck Cougars. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

As for Colts Neck, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3. They not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2nd (when they won 11-0).

For Colts Neck's part, Nick Hayden tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Hayden has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Joseph Pignatelli was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronan Kiely, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Coming up, Manasquan will head out on the road to challenge Wall Township at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Colts Neck, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Middletown South at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
