Baseball Recap: Palm Desert Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

Palm Desert barely beat St. Francis the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Aztecs put the hurt on the Golden Knights with a sharp 8-1 victory on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Aztecs, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Zach Gibbs was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Gibbs was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.
