Baseball Recap: Mount Si Beats Lake Washington for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Mount Si was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Lake Washington Kangaroos. That four run margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Owen Krasowski tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Chase Mentink was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Matthew Talbot was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

The win was the fourth in a row for Mount Si, bringing their record up to 6-2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
