Ballinger won the last time they faced Winters and things went their way on Friday too. Ballinger's pitchers stepped up to hand Winters a 13-0 shutout. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bearcats yet this season.

The win (which was Ballinger's third in a row) raised their record to 9-5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Winters, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ballinger will head out to challenge Cisco at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winters, they will challenge Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coleman will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Winters surely won't give up without a fight.
