Basketball Recap: Bonners Ferry Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Bonners Ferry finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They were dealt a 62-24 defeat at the hands of the Timberlake Tigers. The Badgers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Badgers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taren Bateman, who posted eight points. Nolie Hiatt was another key player, putting up six points.

Bonners Ferry's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Timberlake, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-3.

While Bonners Ferry had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
