Spring Valley is a perfect 9-0 against St. Albans since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Timberwolves are taking a road trip to square off against the Red Dragons at 7:30 p.m. St. Albans took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Spring Valley, who comes in off a win.

Spring Valley took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 24-20 victory over Cabell Midland.

Meanwhile, St. Albans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 48-0 defeat at the hands of Capital. While losing is never fun, the Red Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Cougars are ranked 31st).

St. Albans' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Spring Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Spring Valley against St. Albans when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-14 victory. Will the Timberwolves repeat their success, or do the Red Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
